Terms and Conditions – HT Consulting Services

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of consultancy services by HT Consulting Services to the client ("Client", "you", or "your").
1. Scope of Services
The Consultant provides Independent professional Nurse Practitioner consultancy services, which may include:
- facilitating the provision of health services, as an endorsed NP, I can independently diagnose, treat, refer and prescribe, within my endorsed scope of practice.
- convenient online telehealth and face to face consultations, by licensed healthcare providers, including nurses, nurse practitioners.
- Clinical Services
- Healthcare education and training
- booking of medical appointments and issuance of nurse practitioner-issued sick certificates.
- simplifying the process of dispensing medications through electronic prescriptions.
- Policy and procedure development
- Quality improvement initiatives
- Clinical governance support
- Project management and healthcare consulting
- Other services as agreed in writing
- Collaborative Care -There may be times that I will need to consult with and refer to other Geneal Practitioner, Medical Specialists, or Allied Health Professionals as part of a patient's holistic care provision.
Limitations
I do not handle surgical procedures or Medical Emergencies:
If you require immediate medical attention, contact call 000. If you are in doubt about the seriousness of your condition, the appropriateness or effectiveness of using this service or believe that you, or anyone is in an urgent, dangerous or emergency, you should immediately contact 000 or seek alternative and appropriate medical services.
2. Professional Standards
The Consultant will provide services in accordance with applicable professional, ethical, and regulatory standards governing Nurse Practitioner practice, such as the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, Nurse Practitioner Standards for Practice. MBS Billing Rules.
Services strictly adhere to the Aphra regulatory obligations for privately practising nurses.

3. Fees and Payment
3.1 Fees
My practice bulk-bills and charges private fees and for patients that have a Medicare card will be bulk billed for Medicare items.
3.2 Payment Terms
Payments are due at the time of consultation or service.
Cancellation Policy: The timeframe required to cancel or reschedule appointments is 24 hours and late fees may apply.
3.3 Late Payments
We reserve the right to charge reasonable interest and recovery costs on overdue amounts as permitted by applicable law.
4. Patient Rights and Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Informed Consent: Ensures that patients agree that they understand the proposed treatments, risks, and expected outcomes before proceeding.
- Zero-Tolerance Policy: I have a clear code of conduct requiring respectful behaviour toward staff, protecting our team from harassment or verbal abuse, while patients can expect respectful and professional communication.
- I consider Patient Safety as my top priority, and that patients should always have adequate information about the type of service they are receiving.
- Patients will receive the necessary information to understand what telehealth can and cannot do before making a booking.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
I will handle personal and health information in accordance with applicable privacy legislation and professional obligations.
Clients are responsible for ensuring any personal or health information shared with me is disclosed lawfully and with appropriate authority.
Rights to Access: I give patients complete control over their medical records, including the right to correct inaccuracies and to understand how their data is shared.
7. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- I retain ownership of all pre-existing intellectual property, methodologies, templates, and materials.
- Upon full payment, the Client receives a non-exclusive licence to use reports, recommendations, and deliverables for their internal business purposes.
- The Client may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit my materials without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Consultancy services are based on information supplied by the Client and professional judgement available at the time.
I shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.
9. Cancellation and Rescheduling
As per our payment terms, a 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments to avoid late fees.
10. Dispute Resolution
The parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation before commencing legal proceedings.
